The best way to describe the feelings is "hungover" without the fun part of drinking and never being able to feel normal. I have basically been a tired, headachy, nauseous, hungry/not hungry mess.
I will spare you the bad details... here are some of the good details:
All the fun and gory details about morning (noon?), (night?) sickness:
Evenings seems to be the worst. As soon as I get home from work I go straight to bed and when I wake up I feel like i slept for 10 minutes. Evenings I feel nauseous, cold, achy, and decreased appetite. Mornings, I typically feel ok.
Times when I feel the worse:
Usually around 10am and 7pm. Snacks seem to help a bit.
My stomach churns at the mere scent of:
Coffee or the fridge, or leftovers.
Foods that generally calm my belly:
Cinnamon gum, goldfish, cheese-its, ice cold water
I've been seriously jonesin' for:
Month 1 - Ice cold water & cinnamon gum
Month 2 - French fries, curly fries, cinnamon gum, milkshakes, bagels
Month 3 - Red vines, bagels with egg and cheese, Chocolate covered almonds, milk, sips of an Iced mocha's, coca-cola
The thought of eating/drinking this is totally repulsive:
Months 1-3: COFFEE or tea or anything with caffeine, or anything warm to drink (so sad because prior to pregnancy I loved coffee and tea)
My philosophy when it comes to cravings:
Give the belly what it wants!
